People don’t “sucks”

People suck. (Not necessarily my personal opinion, just graffiti I saw on a cargo train.)

When conjugating a verb with people as the subject, we use the same form of the verb we would use if the subject was they.

  • I suck
  • You suck
  • He/she/it sucks
  • They suck
  • We suck

I never thought I’d ever use the verb suck to demonstrate conjugation in the present simple, but ah well.
